Destination wedding fashion & travel tips:

Dress your flower girl in a white or ivory that coordinates to your
wedding dress color.
Match a sash or ribbon on her dress to the color of the bridesmaid
dresses.  It will pull it all together, and if its on a beach, barefoot flower girls are just adorable!   If
you want to kick up the precious factor, use a silk flower wreath on her head that matches her
sash and the bridesmaid color.

Bridesmaids can't wear heels in the sand, nor if they have to walk a distance on uneven terrain.
Maids on the beach can wear dressy flip flops, sandal or even go barefoot if your wedding is
informal. .  If they have to walk on uneven terrain, find a cute low heeled sturdy shoe or sandal for
them that will allow them to walk easily.

Choose your bridesmaid colors based on the location.  If you are in a beach or
tropical location, think ocean or tiffany blues,  corals, oranges and hot tropical colors that will
pop in your wedding pictures.

If you are in a mountain location, think of all shades of greens, blues to match the sky and other
colors that match the flowers seasonally in bloom.  A quick google search will tell you what is in
season at your location.   If its in the fall, go with earth tones, spices. oranges, browns and deep
greens.

If you are marrying at holiday time, its OK to go with holiday colors.  Tis the season!

Black and white are considered formal colors and don't work well on the beach.  They don't
photograph as well as colors against the sand and sun.
