Napa is east of Sonoma and tends to be warmer in temperatures because of its location. | Weather: The weather in wine country is moderate with wet winters and dry sunny days in the summer, perfect grape growing weather! The rainy season ends about April 15 and the summers are generally dry and in the low 80 degree F in the day, and low 50 degree F in the evenings. ;Winters temperatures in the day are in the upper 50 degree F to a low in the high 30 degrees F i n the evenings. Summer is nearly cloudless with dry days. Getting Around: To get the full impact and explore your surroundings, rent a car at the airport. Currency US Dollar Comments: My husband and I wanted a destination wedding to Italy where my grandparents were born. Unfortunately we both had new jobs and couldn't get enough time off work to make the long trip. We decided that wine country was our best choice to recreating our Italy wedding dream. We also wanted great wine and food. We found an Italian villa that hosted weddings and had our wedding and reception there. It was so perfect for us. We stayed there, while our guests stayed in town. We spent our honeymoon enjoying a day at a spa, wine tastings, ;eating at great restaurants and sitting in our hot tub sipping wine and eating fruit and cheese. We highly recommend a wine country wedding to anyone. We are going back this year and we can't wait. Paola and John Our wedding in Sonoma was like getting married in a postcard.
